Dallas Lee Marks was the 6th born to the union of Barton Marks and Georgia Steele-Queary. However, hwe was the 10th child of the Queary-Marks Family.
Reviewing the census for 1910, he was listed as being 4 years old. He birthday was August 15, 1905.
Dallas also was an orphan as a little boy. He was too young to know or emember his parents. However, Dallas and his sister Rosie Beulah were taken by their uncle and aunt. There were Andrew and Mollie Marks-Alexander of the Red Hill Township in Nevada County.
Dallas and Beulah later went to live with their older sister and brother-in-law Alice Queary and Martin Marks. As they got older, they moved to Fordyce and lived with their brother Willie Marks.
Dallas was an active member of Warren Union Hill Church. He was ordained as a Deacon and served on the Usher Board. Dallas was also active with the Masonic Order.
Dallas last wife was named Lena. He departed this life in 1956. At the time of death, it was documented in his last will and testament that he had one son by the name of Leroy Marks.
